Burr Field is the home pitch of Austin Rugby

The club owns the grounds, which are surrounded by a scenic view of trees. There is also a clubhouse and facilities on site where all the players gather to socialize after practices and games.

From South Austin
Go north on I-35 to the M.L.King exit. Turn right (east) on MLK and proceed past Airport Blvd. to Hwy 183 also called Ed Bluestein Blvd. Turn left (north) on Hwy 183 and go past the first red light (YMCA) to the second red light which is Loyola Lane. Turn right (east) onto Loyola Lane.

From North Austin
Go south on Hwy 183, stay on 183 past Hwy 290 and over Manor Road. The first red light past Manor Road is Loyola Lane. Turn left (east) on Loyola.

Once you're on Loyola Lane
The road will dip downwards for about 50 yards, then turn to the right and You will go over a little concrete bridge (Walnut Creek). Immediately after the bridge (and we mean immediately), there is a dirt road on your right. You may see 2 roads depending if they are still doing construction. Just take the road closest to the bridge. It is a bumpy dirt road and it will take you all the way to the club house (about 3/4 of a mile).
In really wet weather, it may well be an option to park outside the dirt road and get a lift into the fields with a pickup or SUV since getting stuck in the mud is a possibility.
